Are you building a new PC and want to get a GPU that makes games look as great as your PlayStation 5? In this article we'll compare the PS5's GPU (the Oberon) with a number of AMD and NVIDIA GPUs to show you the two most similar graphics cards. We also compare the PS5 GPU to a few newer PC GPUs from 2023 and 2024.

PC GPUs That Are Similar to The PS5

The AMD Radeon RX 6700 is the most similar GPU to the PS5's Oberon GPU across the board. A similar NVIDIA option is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. However, newer GPUs released in the last four years are similar in price to the Oberon, but easily outperform it.
