I would definitely say to make sure that you're using the proper foundation and concealer colors, because you need to balance out your look by concealing and covering the darkness under your eyes.

In many cases, deep-set eyes are caused by the natural structure of the bones and muscles around your eyes. There’s not much you can do to change these features. However, your eyes can also appear deeper or more sunken if you’re tired, dehydrated, or have suddenly lost a lot of weight. It can also be a natural result of aging. To minimize the sunken appearance of your eyes, drink plenty of water, do your best to get plenty of sleep, and care for your skin by using moisturizers and sunscreen. It might also help to put cucumbers or cold teabags on your eyes to soothe inflammation and hydrate the skin.

Brightening your eye area will help your deep-set eyes stand out. Use a light-colored shadow to define your eyelids, then apply a bit of shimmer shadow or highlighter to help them stand out even more. Use a darker shadow to define the crease of your eyelid and the outer corner of your eye. Highlight your brow bone with a little more light-colored shadow. Using mascara will also help make your eyes look bigger and brighter.

Your eyes are deep-set if the lids tend to disappear when your eyes are open. Your brow bone may appear prominent, with the lid vanishing under it when you open your eyes.

I was told to avoid using highlighter on the brow bone on my deep set eyes because it would only make the brow bone more prominent and my eyes look more sunk in. Your thoughts?
    Community Answer
It does make your brow bone pop out because it is highlighting that feature. I feel like you can still use a more muted/natural highlighter on the brow bone. Also, only applying it near the end of the brow bone will make your eyes less sunk in and still add a pop.
