Using light-reflecting glitter shadows can help enhance and emphasize your eye shape. For instance, if your eyes are deep set or close together, using a light-colored glitter eyeshadow on the inner corners can help balance their shape.

There's no right or wrong way to wear makeup; that's the great thing about having artistic expression. However, do consider your lifestyle habits—if you don't normally wear makeup, glitter eyeshadow might be a bold look for a coffee date with friends, whereas it might be perfect on someone who wears a lot of makeup if they're going out for the weekend.
  • Question
Does eye shimmer require glue and primer or can the pack be applied without glue and primer?
    Annastacia S.
    Community Answer
You usually only need one or the other. Really it's whatever you like. I personally like primer better, but it is up to you. Try both and see which one you like best. If you use primer and glue the results might not look as good.
  • Question
Is glitter powder the same as glitter eye shadow, or is it for a different purpose?
    Community Answer
Glitter powder is a bit different from glitter eye shadow. Glitter powder is often called highlighter, and gives your face a nice, subtle glow. Glitter eye shadow is a lot firmer, and is not powder.
  • Question
What about if I don't want a smokey eye or a cat eye, or an anything eye, and I just want to put glitter makeup on? How do I do that?
    Community Answer
You can find a glitter glue at a makeup store. Just put the glue on your eyelid where you want the glitter, then use something like an eyeliner brush to apply it to where the glue is. The glue dries pretty quickly.
  • Question
Do you have the name of a good glitter glue?

    Community Answer
Elmer's glitter glue works well. Another thing you could try is putting liquid glue down and then taking glitter and just sprinkling it on the glue and it dries in place. It might give it a more vivid effect rather than using purchased glitter glue.
  • Question
What's the name of a good glitter gel?
    Community Answer
Colourpop Glitter Gel (which is different than just applying glitter with glue separately) is great and fairly cheap.
