  • Question
How can someone argue without evidence?
    Rachyl Elizabeth
    Community Answer
Through His word. Many argue that the Bible isn't real, or it's all made up. Honestly, trust and faith reinforce my belief in God and the Bible. I choose not to second guess the Lord and his humanity. His word and love is the only evidence I need.
  • Question
If Adam and Eve hadn't sinned, would someone have eventually sinned, or would we live in a perfect world?
    Community Answer
Good question. Maybe someone else would have sinned if they hadn't. After all, Satan would have been still around trying to trip people up.
  • Question
What if someone say Einstein was actually agnostic?
    Melody Taylor Suttles
    Community Answer
He was Jewish, but his parents didn't practice, so he lost interest in his teens. Then he became an atheist. Toward the end of his life he confessed he wasn't sure anymore and thought there might be a Lord because decades of scientific work had begun to show there had to be a God. I personally believe if he confessed those doubts out loud to someone, he was already on his way and just about to fall into the arms of the Lord. I believe God was there with Einstein and that he believed and knew Jesus before he passed. I believe he is in heaven.
  • Question
Why are some atheists against Christianity?
    Community Answer
There are many reasons. Some atheists don't believe in God because science cannot prove that any god exists, and consider some Biblical stories to be scientifically impossible. Some don't think it matters whether a god exists or not. Some disagree with the faith or its values, or question whether organized religion helps or hurts. Just like there are many reasons someone would be Christian, there are many reasons someone would be atheist, and it's impossible to define every single one.
  • Question
Wouldn't it be better to put the Bible aside and stick to cold, hard facts when discussing the existence of God, since some people (not me) doubt the infallibility of the Bible?
    Community Answer
Okay, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit is the only one that can convince people. So let God fight His own fights, He's big enough. If you hear people talking trash about God, pray "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." It can be hard, but it's worth it.
  • Question
Can evolution be the answer to how God created the universe and not take the Old Testament as 100% fact?
    Galasy4969
    Top Answerer
I have been taught that the Old Testament is more or less an attempt to explain the world in a way that was fathomable at the time. The Bible is, of course, a text of man and has been edited by many people, and it is thus incapable of being entirely correct.
  • Question
Why do some believers push Christianity on others by force?
    Galasy4969
    Top Answerer
These people see the Christian lifestyle as the only acceptable lifestyle. They are very much wrong. Christianity is meant to be a personal choice.
  • Question
You said an argument against the Big Bang was to question where the particles came into being as they could not simply be there. Surely this question of origin can apply to God too?
    Jonah Lyons
    Community Answer
God is so unlimited in power that time and space cannot bind Him or define Him. He created a universe that has no beginning and no end.
  • Question
Why are Christians pushing their beliefs onto their children?
    Jonah Lyons
    Community Answer
As a Christian, I believe people have the choice to accept Jesus into their hearts. Parents who are Christian show their children the goodness of God, and explain why they are who they are. This persuades many children to accept their parent's religion. However, they may change their minds in the future.
  • Question
if God made man in his image then is God also a child molester, a rapist, murderer if we are all made in his image? Besides free will, why does God let those things happen to the innocent of the world?
    Community Answer
In His image we are made. And we are given free will out of which not all, but some choose to sin to those extremes. God uses His free will to choose being holy. When we act out of will, we face what's next.
  • Question
How can I bring someone who slid away back to Jesus again?
    Community Answer
You cannot push someone's soul to be back fully. Physically, yes. So, avoid trying to "make sure" that they come back. Have them see the good in the past when they were with God and also stay true to your faith to serve as a live example in front of them. That's all you are in a position to do.
