    Pat the Bat

There is no exact time, as the production's needs can change from day to day, but you should plan on spending a total of 3-4 hours at the studio. You will most likely spend 30-45 minutes in the line-up prior to being brought into the studio for seating. Jeopardy! is a game show, so once taping gets rolling, they pretty much keep rolling. This is as opposed to a sitcom taping, where there are starts and stops for re-takes.

If you have tickets to attend a live audience show, plan for a 4-hour visit because some shows tape multiple episodes at the same time. There may also be a lot of breaks and it could take a fair amount of time. Arrive to the studio at least 45 minutes before the taping time so you don't miss anything. The producers may recommend a particular time for you to arrive. Follow their instructions if they tell you a particular time. Make sure you bring your ID to show security as well. Turn off your cell phone so it's completely silent while you're there. Follow any special instructions that the producers give you while you're there as well.
