Identify what makes you so nervous and try to handle the problem. If it's something like stage freight, then know that the objective of the show is not just to have a successful run through but also if the audience got the message you were trying to give out. Calming your nerves can be tricky. Try out different things, and find what works or you.

Being in colorguard has a lot more in common with actually marching than you think. As long as you can keep time well and learn to conduct, there’s definitely a possibility you could be drum major.
