Definitely. Simply find some land (legally) where you can build a house, a farm, a toilet and other necessities. Then start living! Don't forget water though, and bear in mind you can be self-reliant but you do need healthcare. So be near a hospital. Even if you know a lot of medical stuff, some things just can't be treated by yourself alone.
