Step six goes into detail about it, but you need to make two holes on each side of the door and thread some string through. Then, attach the string to the flap on the door and you can pull the loop on the inside of the castle to make it go up. To go down, you just push the door down.

Step 9 goes into detail on making a drawbridge. Basically you cut out two rectangles with rounded tops, one on black paper and one on brown. Glue the black piece onto the castle to look like an opening. Glue the brown piece on the ground going over the moat. Then glue two pieces of string from the top of the doorway to the top of the bridge.
