If it will be used as a phone, the best place to get a used phone is eBay. The price is going to be lower than what you will pay generally and, also, it is going to be less than what you're going to pay if you were to buy the same phone used from any of the manufacturers. With eBay, the issue is going to be trusting the seller. You will have to talk with the seller by message and ask him any questions that you have and he will have to give you a satisfactory response for you to proceed in buying that phone. Also, the best thing that you can do is to ask for additional pictures of the areas where the phone is generally going to have damage.

Bidding is done on listings that are in auction format. Whoever bids the highest amount before the auction ends wins the item. If you win, you will pay somewhere between the starting price of the item and the price you bid, depending on whether and how much other people bid. The "or Best Offer" option is tagged onto some Buy It Now listings. Buy It Now listings give a fixed price for the item, but if there is an "or Best Offer" option, it means the seller is willing to consider your best offer if you are not willing to pay the full Buy It Now price. You can submit an offer at any time before the listing ends, and the seller will review it and either accept it, reject it, or send you a counteroffer. If they accept it, you win the item immediately and the listing ends. If not, you can try sending higher offers. Buy It Now listings tends to have longer durations than auction listings, but unlike an auction listing, a Buy It Now listing can end at any moment if someone buys the item.
