  • Question
The interior of our breville coffee carafe is coated with scale, how do we remove the scale from the pot?
    Community Answer
Brew a full pot of equal mix water and white vinegar, using a clean coffee filter. Halfway through the brewing cycle, turn the coffee maker off and let the solution sit there for an hour. After an hour, turn the coffee maker back on and let the remainder of the solution brew for the rest of the cycle. Replace the coffee filter with a fresh one and run two cycles of clean water. The scale should be removed.
