This may be hard. If it was a Prime purchase you may have better luck, because Amazon can move money around their platform. If it was a third party seller, it won't work. Your best bet is to call Amazon and plead the case with a rep.

Any order sold by or shipped by Amazon no longer gets a packing slip. Some 3rd party sellers may still do it, but generally that practice went away because of the waste of paper.

Why am I getting emails about cancelled orders if I have never used Amazon?

Generally, this type of email is a "phishing" email, and has nothing to do with Amazon. It usually includes a link that asks for your username and password. If you click on the link (which you should NOT) and enter your username and password, you will have that account stolen by someone. The best way to deal with these types of emails, is to forward them to your ISP's security department. The email sender will then be included in the scammer/spammer lists.

Can I cancel my Prime membership and get my pro-rated money back? I have been charged £7.99 for Amazon Prime, but I haven't asked for this.

First, make sure no one in your household or that you share access to your Amazon account with signed up for Prime. If they did, they should pay for it. You can cancel your membership, but don't expect to get back what's already been paid. The only case where you can get a refund is if someone hacked your Amazon account and signed up for Prime. If you really see no other explanation, then that may be what happened, and you should report it to Amazon and ask for a refund (and also change your Amazon password).
