  • Question
How many tomatoes should be added to 1 kilogram of beef?
    Community Answer
Use five pounds of fresh tomatoes, peeled and seeded (to peel, cut a small "x" on the top and drop in to boiling water for 10 seconds and drop in to an ice bath. Skin will easily peel off), for one kilogram of grounded beef.
  • Question
How do I make an all-cheese lasagna?
    Community Answer
Use different types of cheeses. I recommend ricotta, Parmesan and cheddar.
  • Question
If I am going to serve it the next day, should I heat it today and refrigerate overnight, or bake it tomorrow for the first time?
    Community Answer
Freshly-baked lasagna is the best, but if this is the first time making it, I would recommend that you bake today.
  • Question
Can I put fruit in it instead of vegies?
    Community Answer
This wouldn't really work well with the other ingredients. Eggplant, zucchini, and bell peppers (capsicum) are alternatives to the tomato, but there isn't really a good substitute to the tomato sauce or tomato paste.
