How can I get AC installed into a car that doesn't have it?

Look into the portable A/C units for cars, campers, trucks, etc., that run using the 12V (cigarette lighter) or a battery. They are not exactly inexpensive, but it would cost considerably more to have one built into your vehicle. Check online for pricing of various items under 12v car air conditioners. Make sure it does not say "cooler".

The condenser for the air conditioner is located behind the glove box on the passenger side. The cool air from the condenser has a longer distance to travel to the driver's side, and will gather more heat.

I have gotten good results from both RAIN-X spray and shaving cream. Spray the windows with the spray, rub it in with a paper towel, and wipe well, or spray a very small amount of shaving cream on the windows and wipe around with a paper towel, then wipe clean.
