You could attempt to throw a flashbang and start defusing when the flash happens. The flash would mask the starting sound of the defuse.

You can only plant a bomb if you are a terrorist. Each round, a bomb is randomly given to a terrorist, who releases it by dropping it or by dying. You can pick up the bomb and plant it by going to one of the bomb sites, finding the bomb in your inventory and pressing "5."
