  • Question
What should I do if I find some pornographic pictures of someone I think might be legal age, but I'm not sure?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
It's better to be safe than sorry. Report the photos to the police and let them take the course of action from there. Photos of legal-age adults usually have a disclaimer saying that the subjects are of age. If there is no such disclaimer and you're not sure of the subject's age, it's better to assume it's child pornography until you know for sure otherwise.
  • Question
I thought any depiction of a minor child naked was child pornography. Why does this article say that's a misconception?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
That probably depends on your country or jurisdiction. However, criminal law in the US and Canada specifies "LASCIVIOUS exhibition of the genitals or pubic area" and "dominant characteristic FOR A SEXUAL PURPOSE of a sexual organ or anal region" respectively. Still, there may be other countries where any depiction of a minor child naked is child pornography without exception. There have even been a few cases of law enforcement, mainly in the US, abusing the law and arresting parents who take innocent pictures of their children in the bathtub or playing naked, so perhaps using a phone or digital camera, and keeping such pictures in the family only would be safe.
  • Question
Are pictures on the internet of a nudist camp of children against the law?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
Generally, nudist pictures of children are not against the law provided that they're for the purpose of demonstrating nudism or educating the public about nudism. However, if an actual pedophile snuck a camera into a nudist camp and snapped pictures of the nude children there, they would be charged with voyeurism at best and child pornography at worst.
  • Question
What should I do if I find my child looking at porn?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
Teach your child that porn is only for people of legal age to look at. Also, you could move your child's computer to a more public area of the house so you can monitor their internet activity.
  • Question
Will I get in trouble for looking up nudist family and pure nudism out of curiosity?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
Nudist websites (as well as magazines) are designed to help people who are curious learn more about nudism. They serve an educational purpose and are therefore legit. However, it is best to wait until you are 18 to try nudism unless there is a strong chance that your parents would be willing to accompany you.
  • Question
    Is naturism illegal?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
Naturism in sanctioned places, grounds and events is legal everywhere in North America except the US state of Arkansas.
  • Question
I like to take pictures of my penis as part of the nudist lifestyle. However, the authorities consider this pornography. How do I convince them that I am a nudist?
    MusicIsEverywhere
    Community Answer
Being a nudist does not involve taking pictures of your penis. Taking a picture of any particular body part, especially an inherently sexual part such as the genitals, will raise suspicion from anyone, including those in your nudist circle. You should stop doing this before your fellow nudists kick you out of the club, or worse the authorities question you.
