Flickr allows 1000 photos and videos for free accounts; beyond that, you need to get a paid account. There used to be a 1TB storage limit for free accounts but this has now been removed in favor of paid membership accounts, which provide unlimited storage space.

You can download photos from Flickr provided you’re using a computer––the mobile app doesn’t have the features needed for downloading. You can use the Camera Roll to download up to 500 images at a time: Select Camera Roll => Add items you want by clicking => Click Download => Click Create Zip File, then wait for a notification that the zip file is ready via Flickr Mail; simply click the hyperlink it provides to download your zip file. You can also download a whole album by opening the album, clicking the Download icon and clicking Create Zip File, again waiting for the FlickrMail hyperlink. All your own photos can be downloaded from Your Flickr Data => Request My Flickr Data, then wait for the zip file to download. According to Flickr’s instruction, depending on how many items you wish to download, all this can take anywhere from a few hours to a week.

How can I download a picture from someone else's photostream if they don't allow me to download?
    Community Answer
You don't, as that's called stealing. If they wanted it to be shared, they would enable downloading on it.
  • Question
Is it possible to download the photos without a Yahoo account or the Flick downloader?
    Community Answer
Yes, click the download button and wait for the drop down menu with the size options to pop up. Hover over the one you want and opposite click, select "save link as" and there you have it.
