    That might mean that the drive is activated and is still in use. What you need to do is use a magnifying glass to see where the micro size hole is and use a needle to insert and push lightly inwards. Doing that releases a lever inside to open the drive tray and stop it from being locked in there.

    Nothing... since it is in "use" before you shut down your computer, you should remove the inserted disc. If it is not in "use," then you need to find the micro size hole, usually next to the drive button and insert a needle to release the lever to open the drive tray.
