If the screen is on but doesn't emit any colors, you could have damaged video wires. If the screen doesn't turn on at all you could have either damaged power wires or a damaged screen that would have to be replaced.

My system come up but fails to load the Windows. Just shows a dark blank screen. How can I get to format it when I cannot select anything? Even the cursor is not working.

Launch a Windows repair. If your PC doesn't boot and all you see is a black screen, turn it off and on again a couple times. After doing this repeatedly, the Windows Startup repair should launch automatically. Click Restart and hope that this fixes your black screen problem. If it doesn't, go to Advanced options.
