  • Question
What if I don't have moisturizer?
    Community Answer
You can use lots of different things. Lotion, olive oil, vitamin E, and coconut oil all work great. Even if you don't use any of these, you can still give yourself a pedicure.
  • Question
How do I paint my nails really neatly?
    Community Answer
Apply some masking tape or painter's tape around the edge of your nails. Then take the color of your choice and paint. It is okay to get some paint on the tape. When you are finished, apply a top coat. Wait for it to dry, then peel off the tape.

Thickness shouldn't affect the pedicure. You will probably be fine, although clipping them may be harder.
  • Question
What if I don't have trimmers and cannot trim my nails?
    Community Answer
You may want to look into glass nail files. They are like any other file, but can be used much more quickly since they buff away nail quickly. It can also give you more control in shaping your nail. If trimmers don't work because they are not strong enough I think the glass file is a good option though you may have to put more effort into it than someone else may.

It is not advised to continue with your pedicure if the cut is close to the nail. However, if it's far away enough to bandage, you may continue with caution.
  • Question
What if I don’t have olive oil or cuticle softener
    Community Answer
To help soften your cuticles, I recommend running your hands under warm water, drying them off, and moisturizing. You can use any lotion, cocoa butter, coconut oil or petroleum jelly to moisturize.
  • Question
I have dirt and dead skin buildup inside the edges of my nail between the skin, and my nails have a very sharp curve. How can I remove the gunk?
    Community Answer
Use a sharp cuticle nipper, but be careful. Before you do this, soak your feet in very warm water with a few drops of jojoba oil or sweet almond oil, then massage some lotion in.
