It's important that you connect with your students. Give them the autonomy to do things on their own without controlling them or forcing them to work.

Well, there's no specific answer one can give, however, it's vital to make sure your students are actually enjoying the lesson, and have a good fun:work ratio in their lessons. The best way for them to learn is by having fun. I'd also encourage having leaderboards to make learning more competitive, as well as rewards (such as stationery) for outstanding performance or effort.
  • Question
What are the factors that can affect student behavior in the classroom?
    Community Answer
There are tons of factors that could affect someone's behavior in the classroom, ranging from personal problems like family issues, abuse of some kind, lack of sleep, or poor nutrition to educational issues like a lack of interest in the topic being discussed, learning disorders, or confusion about the material.
  • Question
If a student misbehaves with a teacher, what action should be taken?

Most teachers follow a basic structure when it comes to telling off students: first, they make eye-contact with the student. If the student persists in misbehaving, he or she is given a verbal warning. If the student still messes about, he or she should be moved. After that further measures should be taken: for instance, telling the student to stand outside the classroom and "take a break" or having a word with the student during break or lunch.
  • Question
How do I add a sense of fun to my lessons?
    Community Answer
Make presentations and play in class, give good activities. For example, for latitudes and longitudes you can make them find places on the globe and in other subjects like maths, do the formula using real things as this makes it fun to learn.
