If you want to improve your skills in a certain language, reading texts in that language will make you familiar with normal usage of all aspects of that language. Even though you may not (yet) know the grammatical rules behind a certain linguistic construct, seeing that construct used in print over and over will allow you to use it with confidence yourself. Also, reading introduces you to new words so will expand your vocabulary.
  • Question
How can I simply improve my English speaking capacity if no one around me knows English?
    Community Answer
Use the internet! There are many resources on many websites, like Youtube. Watch English TV shows and movies, listen to English songs and sing along to the lyrics. If there is an English bookstore around you where you live, you can buy children's books (preferably classics) and then make progress towards more complex language.
