  • Question
A laptop went missing in an office and I was called to interrogate the whole staff. What kind of questions should I ask without much intimidation?

Be calm and casual. Think about each person's motives. If someone looks suspicious, shifty eyes, stammering, etc., question them more.
  • Question
How do I find someone that I can interrogate?
    Community Answer
You should only interrogate if it is needed, it shouldn't be your goal to interrogate someone, nor should you hope for it.
  • Question
    How do I get interrogated?

You get interrogated when someone believes you have information he/she wants. It's not considered a pleasant experience and is often accompanied by some form of psychological or physical coercion.
  • Question
What should I do if the person I'm interrogating tries to run away?
    Community Answer
Try to interrogate someone in an enclosed, locked space if possible. If you can't do that, make sure you know all the exits to the area you're in so you can block them if necessary.
  • Question
When do I introduce props into an interrogation?

You can have a partner slowly bring them in, or put them around the room or on a table and use them as you see fit.
  • Question
How do I find out what someone does regularly on a given day?

Well, ask the person, for starters. That really is the only way to get an accurate answer. Aside from that, you'd have to ask someone who is with this person for most of the day or knows his or her schedule.
  • Question
How do I get someone to admit to stealing my phone?

List the evidence and present it to the person. However, no one likes being cornered with no way out; this is a fundamental fear, and people may avoid it at all cost, regardless of how clear the evidence against them is. So leave a way out. Present an ironclad case, get the person to admit to stealing your phone, but allow the person to bow out gracefully if it was just a one-time error, and the person isn't a hardened criminal.
  • Question
What should I do if I know the person did it, but they won't confess?
    Top Answerer
If you know for sure what someone did, and you have evidence, you can use your proof to prove that they did the crime.
