  • Question
How can I lose fat with it without losing muscle size?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
Jumping rope is a cardio exercise; it uses just about every muscle in your body and it gets your heart rate up, which burns fat . A rule of thumb is: doing push-ups fast builds strength, doing them slowly builds strength and volume. So jumping rope will lose fat and build muscle strength, but you'll need to do strength training as well to maintain/increase muscle mass.
