  • Question
When you cut the pieces out for 3D origami pieces, are they supposed to be squares or rectangles?
    Community Answer
They should be rectangles. Start with rectangular paper (I use standard printer paper), and just keep folding it in half until you have the number of rectangles you need, then cut along the lines. I find that tearing along the lines gives me a good straight line, though. A good size to start with is 16 rectangles per page while you're learning the folds.
  • Question
How can I make them fit easily?
    Lore

Make sharp, straight ends so they can push into each other easily. Press firmly on the seams.
  • Question

  • Question

You can weaken the creases and tear along the lines, or you can use an X-Acto knife or anything else that's sharp.
  • Question
How do I make the thing on step 17?
    Community Answer
You need to put it together. Look at the bottom of the triangle, you’ll see two pockets. Keep on putting the pockets on the tips of the other triangles, and you’ll see it forming a shape.
  • Question
Is printer paper A4 paper, and can I use it to make 3D origami pieces?
