Try to determine your skin type. Skin types include cool tones and warm tones, as well as different categories within that such as neutral-cool and neutral-warm tones.
  • Question
Can I mix bb cream and foundation to make my dark foundation look bright?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can. But it probably won't get that much brighter. Try it out! I would recommend you mix two different colors for luster.
  • Question
If I put baby powder over my foundation, will it make me look lighter the entire day?
    Community Answer
It might, but it would also make you look pale and strange, so I wouldn't recommend this.
  • Question
What sort of eye shadow cream do I need to use?
    Community Answer
Any non-shimmer eye shadow cream will work. Just make sure it is lighter than the foundation itself.
  • Question
What sort of eye cream can you use to make your foundation lighter?
    Community Answer
You can use a primer or concealer to make your foundation lighter.
  • Question
How do I get the foundation back in the bottle?
    Community Answer
You squeeze the bottle just a little, but not so much that any comes out. Then you put the bottle over the foundation that that is already out and stop squeezing, it will suck the foundation in. Do this multiple times and then all of your foundation will be in the bottle.
  • Question
Will the moisturizer affect the final finish of the foundation? I use a matte foundation but I don't want it to end up making my skin shiny.
    Community Answer
As long as you use an appropriate amount of moisturizer (a dollop about the size of a pea), it should not affect the outcome of your completed look. If your finish is a little more dewy than you would like it, you can always build up a bit more coverage with your matte foundation to fix the problem.
  • Question
How do I make a DIY pad in an emergency at school?
    Community Answer
Fold up as much toilet paper as possible without it being noticeable and put it in your underwear where a pad would go. I would also recommend asking a girl friend for one as the toilet paper won't hold for long and you'll have to make a lot of trips to the bathroom to replenish.
  • Question
Can I mix it with a lighter BB cream?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can certainly mix the two shades together to make a shade that better suits your needs. However, only do tiny amounts at first, recording your measurements so you can later replicate the exact combination that you like the most.
