Sure, you can! A lot of people don't know that, but balloons and beach balls won't pop if you use a low setting heat gun. The downside of this is that you won't be able to use the balls again, as you probably won't manage to remove the glue.

The easiest way is to buy a balloon arch in a store. This structure comes with two bases that can be filled up with water or sand. Then, you can start attaching the beach balls with hot glue or some tape, covering the whole structure.
  • Question
Can I make a beach-ball arch without the inner tubes?
    Community Answer
No, since you need the support in the arch. If there's no support, within a few hours, it will fall and/or break.
  • Question
What size of beach balls are the correct size?
    Community Answer
That depends on what you prefer. If you want it to look unique, find large beach balls but do make sure it is stable. If you want it to look nice and cute, choose small ones.
  • Question
Where do I get cheap inner tubes?
    Community Answer
There are many stores that offer cheap inner tubes. Although they may not be the best quality, they are still useful for the arch. You can go to Dollar Tree, Target, or Walmart, and you can probably get them online from Amazon, eBay, etc.
  • Question
What size of beach balls and tubes should I use?
    Community Answer
That depends who your audience is. If it's just adults or teens, get larger ones. If it's little kids, you can use smaller ones.
  • Question
What's the best type (brand) of glue to use to glue the beach balls to the inner tubes?
    Community Answer
Lubaderm, Durexia or Franzolidite are all great brands of latex adhesives. They can be purchased online for fairly cheap.
  • Question
What should I do with the beach balls afterwards? Are they still usable?
    Community Answer
No, they are not reusable, you glued that stuff together. The only good thing those balls are good for is a beach ball archway. Save it and use the archway for a future party, or just throw it away.
  • Question
What latex-based adhesive is best to use? I'm having a hard time finding one.
    Community Answer
Try a tube of Loctite Flexible Adhesive. Don't gob it on, or it will eat through the beach ball. It's very tacky, so spread it out where things meet in a smooth layer (I used my finger, which worked great). It dries in 30 minutes, which is awesome - other cements take much longer. I did sections at a time, giving each the 30 minutes to set.
  • Question
Where can I purchase the actual arch for the framing?
    Community Answer
Unlike a balloon arch that requires a frame to attach the balloons, there is no frame for the beach ball arch, they are attached one to another.
  • Question
Where would I get the balls?
    Community Answer
Beach balls are not difficult to find during the summer, even gas stations often sell them! Your best bet is the seasonal or toy section of a store like Walmart.
  • Question
What kind of glue dries the fastest and works best when making a beach ball party arch?
    Community Answer
Latex glue, which you can find in craft stores like JOANN Fabric, Michael's, and online on sites like Amazon and eBay.
