QuestionMy necklaces are not tight enough. When I crimp the other side, beads run down and it shows some wire. How can I correct that?Catherine ShetrompfCommunity AnswerIt sounds like you may be having trouble pulling the wire/stringing material through your crimp bead enough. It can be tricky. I use two pairs of flat nose pliers (with rubber or silicone covered teethe so it doesn't harm anything). One pair holds the piece of jewelry at the point you want the crimp bead to be (you do want to leave a bit of room) and so it doesn't fall, the second pair of pliers is going to pull the stringing material back through the crimp bead once it's gone through once and now has a clasp or whatever you're putting there. Try to pull it through a few beads, then snip the remainder.
