    Loosen them! Braids don't have to be super tight to stay where they are, and these looser Nordic braid styles are really pretty.

    You shouldn't keep them in for longer than 2 months, even if they still look good. You need to take them out so you can properly cleanse the scalp under the braids and let the hair rest.
