  • Question
Where do you put all of your stuff?
    Community Answer
Most buses and planes allow for one carry on bag and one larger piece of luggage to be stowed in another compartment. Check with the teacher if you're not sure how much room you have. Once you arrive, you can unpack your things in your room, leaving enough space for your roommates.
  • Question
How long befog my 3.5 day school trip should I pack my bags? It's two weeks away right now.
    Community Answer

  • Question
How do I make sure that my valuables don't get taken without carrying them on me all the time?
    Community Answer
Give them to a friend/teacher/caretaker, or leave them with the front desk if you're staying in a hotel. Ideally, you should just avoid bringing anything valuable.
  • Question
What bag should I use for a two day trip when I'm staying at a hotel?
    Community Answer
Bring something biggish, but not so big that it can't fit in the back of a car with other bags. Perhaps a duffel bag would do the trick.
  • Question
What kind of bag should I take, a duffel bag or a small suitcase?

  • Question
Is it too much if I were to take a small suitcase AND a backpack with my cross-body purse with me on the trip?
    Community Answer
It depends on the length of the trip. If you are going on a trip for more than 2 days, that should be plenty of room to fit everything you need for the trip. If you are going for 1-2 days, a small suitcase should be fine. If you are going for more than a week, consider taking more luggage. Enjoy your trip!
  • Question
I'm going on a 4.5 day trip with my school, but I have trouble packing. I'm trying to fit all my toiletries in one small bag, but I have a lot of them! Should I pack less, or get a bigger bag?
    Community Answer
If you have too many toiletries, see if you can eliminate any that you don't really need. If you can't take out any non-essential ones, you should probably get a bigger bag.

  • Question
I have a school trip that is 4 days long, what type of suitcase should I bring?
    Helpful_Bot

If you'll mostly be sightseeing, a duffel bag or a medium-large travel backpack would be big enough to fit all your clothes, toiletries, and supplies. If you need to do schoolwork while on the trip, you should pack all your school objects in one backpack, and bring the rest of your things in a small rolling suitcase. (Carry-on size.)
  • Question
How do I pack for a 12 hour school trip?
    Community Answer
Bring a slightly larger backpack, with lots of food, two water bottles and an extra pair of undies. Bring a wide brim hat and wear comfy shoes. Make sure to bring sunscreen and lip balm. Bring some food to share with friends. Pack a good book, maybe some card games. A notebook and some coloured pencils are good. Bring a pack of mints in case your breath gets a bit smelly. Lollies (candies) are good as well. If you don't mind making a slight fool of yourself, sing some songs with your mates, that everyone knows like True Blue, or Waltzing Matilda. But most importantly have fun!

  • Question
How can I find something to do for a two night school trip?
    Boredkpopfan
    Community Answer
Take some books or small items like playing cards. If you want to take a big item, try to find one that is smaller, like a Frisbee (foldable ones exist) instead of a ball, or a small comic book instead of a big chapter book.
  • Question
There is a lot of activities on my school trip. How do I know I’ve got everything I need?
    KY_GirlatHeart
    Community Answer
Make a list of those activities on one sheet of paper; then list what you'll need for each activity. You can make those items into a checklist so that you can draw check marks for each item you pack. Keep in mind that there might be a change in weather; so check the weather for that location beforehand.
  • Question
I go on a trip in 3 days and I am kind of excited but I don't know how to pack my stuff like where my shoes go and how many things do I pack?
    Community Answer
Ask a parent or make sure you have the packing list to fold your clothing or have a bag that has compartments. Put the stuff you need often on the top or on the outside of the backpack. Things that you won't need during the day, you can put at the bottom, e.g. pajamas (if you wear them). Alternatively, if your bag or suitcase is big enough, divide your clothes into day, night and dirty (put in a plastic bag). Don't pack more than you need, because carrying a heavy bag or backpack will tire you quickly.
