Ideally you should play in an area where everyone knows the environment well and there is relatively smooth terrain, but you might want to have a first aid kit handy just in case.

  • Question
Can I play flashlight tag in a house with all the lights off?
    Brandon Safiran
    Community Answer

  • Question
Can I combine this variation of tag with other variants? For example, Infection Flashlight tag?
    Community Answer
Yes. Making up your own variation of tag, or combining two different ways to play, can be fun for all players. Just make sure that the rules with both variations work together. For example, make sure people can tell when they're "tagged" by the flashlight since you won't be tagging them.
  • Question
Is guarding the jail unfair since the guards can get you as soon as you get there?
    Community Answer
Typically, the guards wouldn't be right in front of the "prisoner". Part of the fun is to see if you can get around the guards! If you're still not sure that it's fair, set a rule that only one person can guard the jail.
