    Expert Answer
After your waxing appointment, keep the area clean, don't shave stray hairs, and exfoliate regularly.
  • Question
Does it hurt when you get your eyebrows waxed?
    Community Answer
Yes, but it is only momentary. It also depends on how much hair is being removed and how thick it is.
  • Question
Why is the skin removed during waxing?
    Community Answer
The skin is removed when you wax because it is very sticky and pulls on the top layer of skin. Follow the steps on this list and to prepare your skin for waxing.
  • Question
For how many days after waxing should I wear loose clothes?
    Community Answer
It depends on how sensitive your skin is. Personally, I would go for loose pants for a while, as tight ones prevents skin from breathing, and encourage the accumulation of dead skin and sweat (which may cause ingrown hairs). A few days is probably sufficient but you'll have to take into account your skin type, your activity levels, the weather, etc.
  • Question
Can hair on your legs be too long for waxing?
    Community Answer
No. You should be able to wax long hairs fine.
  • Question
Can I get a bikini wax while I'm on my period?
    Community Answer
Waxing salons would probably not allow that. Just wait until your period finishes.
  • Question
    How much does waxing hurt?
    Community Answer
It feels quite painful but only for a split second. It shouldn't really bother you once you rip the strip off.
