    There's a product I really like called Method. It's super cheap and it's a green product that doesn't have any abrasive or dangerous chemicals in it. So, you can just spray that on and then get in there with an old toothbrush and just scrub any dirt off.

    Yes, vinegar will clean your shower head. A lot of people don't like vinegar getting inside of the shower head, since it might erode something inside of the shower head. It's probably fine to use vinegar, though.
