You could, but the dry ice will also freeze it quickly. Be sure it is packaged and sealed in freezer wrap, so you don't get burned from the dry ice. Do not allow meat or fish to touch the bare dry ice.

Dry ice doesn't melt. Dry ice at atmospheric pressure goes straight from solid for to gas form. This is called sublimation. If you put dry ice in water, the carbon dioxide will turn to gas and then bubble out.
