    Expert Answer
This depends upon the credentialing protocols of the Christian organization to which you belong. Of course, a pastor should be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a Spirit-empowered student of the Bible, one who knows and meets the Scriptural qualifications for an overseer and shepherd, one who affirms the gifts and callings of the office of a pastor, a person of prayer, a respected person with a respectful heart toward all people.

    Expert Answer
If you feel God is important, you will be willing to invest some of your time and resources into knowing Him better. Create a margin in your day to invest in reading and memorizing Scripture, meditation, prayer, journaling. Become part of a community in which you pray and worship with others who share your faith and provide mutual encouragement to focus upon God. Find a place of Christian service as a follower of Jesus Christ.
  • Question
How does this work if I am at school?
    Community Answer
Start by making lots of friends, then set an example to others by acting like a good Christian and Christ-like. Try to find out their needs, and help them if it is in your capacity; if you can't, get someone who can to help. Always remember to pray to God for courage and strength to do it.
  • Question
I'm alone with no family and friends, but I want to spread the word of God. What can I do?
    Community Answer
Join a church if there is one around you. Join in a public activity. Go to a park. If there is a gym, you can go to work out and talk to people. You could also introduce yourself to your next door neighbors. No one stays friendless forever. If God wants you to tell others about Him, He will help you.
  • Question
How can I read the Bible if it's too difficult to remember and understand?
    Acrocanthosaurus

Attend church. Pastors have sermons that will explain what is meant in certain verses and will tell what to do according to them.
  • Question
What if I'm a shy person? How can I spread the word of god?
    Community Answer
God will give you the strength to do that. And if you can't spread the word of God vocally, you can find another way to help, such as supporting charities.
  • Question
I'm on vacation and I don't have the bible with me. How do I spread the word?
    Community Answer
Remember the basics that you learned from reading the bible and from your religious classes or church and share them with people that you meet who seem interested.
  • Question
Why do many people not believe in the Holy Gospel when it is clearly stated that Jesus is the only Son of God?
    Community Answer
Diversity of human beings means that people will believe different things. It is really important to try to avoid the tendency to believe that your own form of belief is the sole and accurate form. To do that is to to disrespect the reality that every human being is striving to find the best path in life in their own way. If they come to God in different ways, then be glad they share your ultimate value. If not, that too is their choice and it isn't your place to worry yourself to pieces about their soul or loss thereof.
  • Question
How can I spread the word of God if I don't have friends?
    Community Answer
You can always make more friends at work or school with whom you can share the gospel. And maybe they're already saved! You could also try going to public places and approaching strangers (nicely!).
  • Question
I`m just a kid. I don't even go to school because I'm home schooled. How can I spread the gospel?
    Community Answer
I'm sure you have friends, and you can live a God-honoring life. Don't forget to read the Bible and ask God to show you where He wants you to work for Him. I'd also encourage looking into programs like Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and their program Christian Youth in Action (CYIA).
  • Question
What if I wear shirts with scripture or have bumper stickers on my car, is that considered spreading the good news?
    Community Answer
Yes, but you should still get out there and talk to people about the glory of God. Bumper stickers and shirts are easy to ignore, some people may not even notice them.
  • Question
Where are areas (besides work and school) that I can meet lost people?
    GROWingup
    Community Answer
Everywhere is a place to meet lost people. You could be in the supermarket buying something and overhear someone's conversation. Just quickly whisper a word of prayer and allow the Lord to use your mouth to tell of his praises, like what he did with the prophet Jeremiah. Yes, the individual may get upset with you for butting in, but understand that you allowed the Lord to use you to sow a seed in that individual's heart and now the rest is up to the Lord. Other places you can meet lost people are the Library, your street (your neighbors), on the bus, at an event you go to, etc. Anywhere can be a place to evangelize.
  • Question
How do I ask a Christian who doesn't read the Bible to worship God and honor Him, when they say that we talk too much and they find it annoying?
    Acrocanthosaurus
    Community Answer
There's not much you can do. Encourage them to attend church regularly and that's all you can do. Allow the Holy Spirit to work faith in them. Definitely do not try to force them, that may even discourage them from worshiping.
  • Question
I`m just a kid and I`m home schooled. I rarely get opportunities to spread the gospel. What am I supposed to do, stuff tracts into people's mailboxes?.
    GROWingup
    Community Answer
Yes, you can always do that. But you can also go out and about telling people about the Lord. Pray for guidance and courage and the Lord will reveal the answer in due time. Not your time but his. You can always tell others about him anywhere you go. Share the word of God with your parents and other family members as well. Tell all the people that you meet, and have a good character so others can see Christ through you and use you as a witness and living proof of his love.

    Amy Gremillion

Sometimes, the best way you can witness to others is simply to treat them with kindness and respect. Jesus spent time with people of different faiths—He brought them to God by treating them with love, not by condemning them.
