You could ask question, share an interesting observation, or try flirting with them. Honestly, it can be kind of hard to get a great conversation going over text. You just miss out on a lot of the magic and spontaneity when you're texting and it's easy to misread tone when you can't hear someone speak. If you're really looking for a meaningful conversation, try calling them or talking in person!
