  • Question
Is 25 people too many for a beach birthday party?
    Community Answer
Nope, you can have as many people as you want! (Although personally I would recommend keeping it under 50 just because you have to clean up after everyone at the end.)
  • Question
I don't really know what to do for my 14th birthday party. I want to invite both genders. What can we do?
    Community Answer
There are endless ideas for a 14th birthday. You can go to a movie, bowling alley, skating rink, museum/zoo, or host a pool party. You could order pizza or have everyone meet up at a restaurant. Get input from your parents, and if you still can't decide, ask some of the friends you're planning to invite what they'd like to do.
  • Question
Do you think that it is a good idea for my 13th birthday to hire a boat and go out with my friends to a tidal island? (I'm a girl)
    Community Answer
Sure, if that's what you want. Just be sure to get parental permission and supervision.
  • Question
What happens if it's nighttime and parents want them home?
    Community Answer
If your guests' parents want them home, y you should listen to the parents.
  • Question
How can/would I throw a Baywatch combined with a Hawaii Five-o and a Luau themed beach party?
    Community Answer
You could have the games in one theme (Baywatch ) and the decor in an other (luau) then dress up as the last theme.
  • Question
We're holding a party at our beach house. The beach charges a fee for a badge to get onto the beach. Am I responsible for paying for everyone's badge?
    Community Answer
You could alert guests to this fee and request that they pay it themselves; however, if you're hosting a party at your beach house, guests could reasonably assume that invitation includes beach access. This is really a personal judgment call; if you can afford the badges, though, it would be the good-host thing to do to purchase them for the guests. You could check and see if the beach administration offers a group pass for such events.
  • Question
I'm about to turn 18 four months from now, and I don't know what to do, because it's too late to start saving money now. What can I do?
    Community Answer
Just come up with some fun but low budget ideas: Have the party at your house, use decorations you already have, and maybe ask the guests if they could do a potluck-style meal. There are many ways to have a low-budget birthday, and as long as you invite people you love hanging out with the party will probably still be fun.
