The point is to develop on things that are solid and absorb energy. A normal punching bag will only get you so far. • Question

  • Question
I am almost 14, can I try this now? And can I use a trash bag, or do I need a special bag?
    Community Answer
Generally it is very good to start training at a younger age, but while you are growing, it is crucial that you do not over do it, as it will mess up your growth. But if you take it slow, you can still get iron fists within a year. For the bag, a trash bag will break easily, so you need a bag made out of some kind of fabric, and fill it with sand, beans, rice, or something similar. It is important that the bag is very hard in the end; when hitting it, it should feel almost solid. (You could also just buy a bag.)
