    If you are using washing soda, it can be used to clean the nets. Follow the article instructions for the use of baking soda.to clean the nets. You should use plastic gloves as washing soda will strip all oils from the skin.

    Bleach is an acid and can make things look white initially. Over time, the acid can cause yellowing due to the oxidation of trace amounts of the bleach in the fabric. It can damage and weaken fibers especially if the net curtains are made of natural materials like cotton. Quick wash cycles do not removed particles embedded in fabrics if they are not presoaked ahead of time.

    Step 7 of the article recommends drp drying the net curtains, The shrinkage can occur if you decide to put the net curtains into a dryer. The heat of the dryer can melt and shrink the thin net fibers. This is not recommended.

    For some delicate materials like this, you can put a baking soda solution on, then add the vinegar, (or other mild acid like lemon juice, which would be much less strong smelling). This will create a fizzing reaction, and it might lift a sufficient amount of the stain off. You will just have to try it to see how it goes though.

    It is possible to use a steamer to clean curtains while they are hanging. It can be time consuming as you need to go slowly to make sure all areas are treated. The net material will let most of the steam through so it may take more than one pass to properly clean them.
