Doctor Who can be classified into three main eras. Classic Doctor Who ran from 1963 to 1989. This contains adventures from the first Doctor to the seventh Doctor. NuWho ran from 2005 to 2022 and contains adventures from the ninth Doctor to the thirteenth Doctor. (The 8th doctor appears in a movie, and then a revival started with the ninth Doctor.) The most recent era is the Whoniverse, which focuses on the fourteenth doctor and beyond.
