How can I stop running out of room on my sheet?

If you mean that you are running out of columns, you can get a new sheet for the next game (or if you run out of those, either erase them after every 4 games or order more online; the game instructions tell you how). If you are taking separate notes and that is where you run out of room, just use multiple sheets. The only things that you should write on the detective sheet are x's or player initials.

You should know some of the cards of other players -- all you need is to make a list of all cards, cross off your cards, cross off any you know are in the envelope and the cards you know your opponent has. This will leave some cards left, and you know it can only be that.
