On Animal Jam, non-members can only have two animals at a time. Once you have two animals, you may want to buy a new animal in place of one of those animals. Or, maybe you wish to clear up space for new animals as a member. To do so, you would need to recycle one of your existing animals. This wikiHow will tell you how to recycle an animal on Animal Jam.
Steps

Log in to your Animal Jam account. Enter your username and password and select Play to log in, or create an account if you don't have one already.

Click on your animal list. Select the button with two animals with an arrow between them that is used to switch animals. This will open the menu showing a list of your animals.Advertisement

3Select the blue recycling bin icon. This button should be near the bottom left corner of the menu. Clicking this button will make recycling bin icons appear on each of your animals.

Choose which animal you wish to recycle. Decide which animal you wish to recycle from your account.
- Keep in mind that you can't recycle the animal you're currently using. If you wish to recycle that animal, first switch to a different animal (or create another animal if that's the only animal you have) so the option of recycling that animal is available.

5Click the recycling bin icon. Select the animal from your list that you wish to recycle, and click the recycling bin icon by that animal.

6Verify that you wish to recycle the animal. A message should appear, asking if you wish to recycle the animal and stating how many gems you will receive for recycling it. Verify your decision by agreeing to the message.

Create a new animal if you wish. Recycling an animal should free up space in your account to create a new animal. It will also give you 500 gems. If you wish, click the blue paw print icon from the menu to create a new animal.Advertisement
