Steps

Open Google Sheets. It’s the green icon with a white spreadsheet outline. You’ll usually find it in the app drawer or on the home screen.

Tap the sheet you wish to edit. This displays the content of the sheet.Advertisement

Tap a blank cell next to the column that contains duplicates. This cell is where you’ll enter the formula that will display unique cells from the column. A formula bar will appear at the bottom of the screen containing the letters “fx.”

Type =UNIQUE() into the formula bar. This is the bar at the bottom of the screen. Once you’re finished typing, the parentheses () will be highlight in gray.

Tap the letter of the column that contains your data. This highlights the entire column in red. The column letter will also appear between the parentheses in the formula bar.
- For example, if you tap the B column, the formula will read =UNIQUE(C:C) .

Tap the check mark. It’s at the far right edge of the formula box. This runs the formula, which displays the contents of the column with the duplicates cells removed.Advertisement
