- Keep in mind that having no PIN code will decrease the security on your device, since anyone can access your phone if it's left out.
- If you'd rather use a different method to lock your phone, select it now. You can use a fingerprint, pattern , or password on most devices. Once you select a new option, follow the on-screen instructions to set it up.

Changing SIM PIN
-
1Open your Android’s Settings. Click the gear icon in the app drawer. It may also be on the home screen or in the notification panel.

-
3Tap SIM card security . You can find this under the “SIM Card Lock” header.
-
4Select your SIM card. This opens your SIM card’s security settings. If the SIM is protected by a PIN, a check mark will appear next to "Lock SIM Card."
-
5Tap the switch for "Lock SIM card". The switch will turn grey. A pop-up will appear.

6Enter your current PIN and tap OK . The PIN is a 4 to 8 digit number. If you don’t know the PIN, you may be able to get it from your mobile provider.
- If the PIN is accepted, the check mark will disappear from the “Lock SIM Card” box. This means the PIN is now removed.
