Every day, Facebook will show you past posts, photos, and interactions from today's date over the years in the Memories section, which used to be called "On This Day." Viewing Your Facebook Memories

Tap Memories . It's the clock and curved arrow icon in the upper-left area of the menu.

Scroll through your memories. You'll see different posts , photos , anniversaries, and content you were tagged in on today's date from past years.

Tap Manage Settings at the top to customize your Memories. On this page, you can control whether you're notified of new Memories and filter out Memories involving certain Facebook users or dates.

Manage your Facebook Memories notifications. You can select All Memories to be notified every day a memory is shared, Highlights to only be notified of select memories, or None to stop seeing Memories notifications.

Hide Memories from specific dates and/or people. If particular anniversaries and content might be painful to see, you can prevent Facebook from displaying Memories from specific dates and people.
- Tap People to choose people you don't want to see in your Memories.
- Tap Dates to omit certain dates from Memories.

Open the Facebook website . Doing so will open your News Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
- If you aren't logged into Facebook , type in your email address (or phone number) and password in the top right corner of the page and click Log In .

Click Memories in the left panel. You'll see it just below "Friends" at the top-left corner of Facebook.
