Find out which friends are taking screenshots of your Snapchat Stories

Do you want to know who screenshotted your Snapchat Story? You can easily find this in the Story's details as long as you're friends. This also applies to public Stories; you won't be able to see who screenshotted if they're not on your friend list. Here's how to see who screenshotted your Snapchat Story on your iPhone, iPad, or Android.

Finding Who Took a Screenshot of Your Snap Story

To discover who screenshotted your Snapchat Story, open the Story and tap the up arrow. Look for the arrow/triangle icon with lines coming out of it. Keep in mind you'll only see users on your friend list; you can't see who screenshotted your public Stories if you aren't friends.

  1. This is in the top-left corner.
  2. Make sure you tap the circle rather than the Story title; the Story will open in full. You'll find this below the Stories header.
    • Currently, there's no way to check who screenshotted your Public Story.
    • If you have Snapchat Plus , you can tap Story Rewatch to see who watched your Story more than once.

  3. This will open the Story's details. You'll see an eye icon (viewers) and a triangle icon with lines coming out of it (screenshots).
  4. You'll see a list of users who viewed your Story underneath My Friends . If they screenshot your Story, you'll see the triangle icon with lines on the right of their name.
