All About the Shadow Fruit

The Shadow Fruit is a Mythical Natural-type Blox Fruit that can be purchased from the Blox Fruit Dealer for $2,900,000 or 2,425 Robux. It's one of the easier Mythical fruits to get, but it also has a low trade value. This fruit is good for PvP and grinding bosses, but isn't the best for grinding mobs.

  1. You can get it from the Blox Fruit Dealer for $2,900,000 or 2,425 Robux. It's a purple fruit with a glowing pink face and gray bat wings on each side, and it was released in 2021.
  2. It's not recommended to use Shadow Fruit in the First or Second Sea as it has high mastery requirements. It's a good PvP fruit since it can do a lot of damage, but it's not the best PvP fruit available.

    • Mastery cost: 1 Mastery
    • Description: You turn into a shadow orb and dash towards the cursor location. If you hit an enemy you will turn into a bat swarm that does damage. You will then fly up into the sky and leave the enemy on the ground. This move breaks instinct.
    • Mastery cost: 100 Mastery
    • Description: You shoot a bat swarm towards the cursor location. If this swarm hits an enemy, it will explode into a flurry of bats that do damage. Some bats will fly off and hit nearby enemies. This move does not break instinct.
    • Mastery cost: 200 Mastery
    • Description: You dash forward, stealing health from an enemy. You will get 20% of your max health back, plus do damage to the enemy. The enemy will also be knocked back. This move will always break instinct.
    • Mastery cost: 300 Mastery
    • Description: You turn into a giant shadow orb and explode into a cloud of darkness. This will drain your Umbra Meter (see the section on passives below ) and do lots of damage to nearby enemies, and it will also break instinct. The explosion will leave behind a bat swarm that will damage enemies left inside the cloud. The cloud will also pull enemies back into it if they try to run away. The higher your Umbra Meter is, the bigger the explosion and shadow cloud will be.
    • Mastery cost: 50 Mastery
    • Description: You turn into a bat swarm and can fly for 10 seconds. If you fly near an enemy, bats from the swarm will fly into them to damage them. This move does not break instinct at all.

  1. As you deal damage to enemies with Shadow Fruit's abilities, the Umbra Meter will gradually fill. Shadow's Corvus Torment move is the only thing that can drain the Umbra Meter. [1]
    • The Umbra Meter will also fill automatically at night time.
    • When using the Shadow Fruit, a dark aura will surround your character. This aura gets more intense the higher your Umbra Meter is, but this is purely cosmetic.
