Genshin Impact has multiple story quests, and everything will eventually be released in phases. It will be several years before you will reach the end of the game, unlike Breath of the Wild or Immortals: Fenyx Rising , because not everything will be available at one moment. Improving World Progress

Manage your Battle Pass rewards. Every day, you can get Battle EXP just for logging in. Click on the flying bird in the corner to open Battle Pass, and click on the center option to view your BP missions.
- Aim to complete as many of the missions as possible, as that means more Battle EXP.
- Your BP level will continue to increase until you reach BP 50, in which case you can purchase Gnostic Hymn (costs US$9.99) to get even more BP rewards.

Complete your daily commissions. Each daily commission rewards a certain number of Primogems, and there will also be resources you may encounter while doing them. Complete all four commissions for an extra reward from the Adventurer's Guild.Advertisement

Search for world quests. These are usually marked with a blue exclamation point on the map or above an item/NPC, but others will require you to read a stone tablet to unlock. These reward Primogems, Adventurer's EXP, and/or Character EXP.

Continue to explore. Farm resources, open chests, and defeat enemies for your characters/weapons/artifacts. Aim to get as many characters/weapons/artifacts as high as possible to improve your combat experience and to scale with the world difficulty. It is important not to ascend your adventurer's rank until you have gotten your characters really high. You can also forge new weapons that are stronger.
- Don't forget to dispatch characters on expeditions.

Complete Adventurer's Handbook explorations. In the Adventurer's Handbook are certain missions where you can get rewards for completion. Once you complete all the missions, you will progress to the next chapter. Currently, there is nothing after Chapter 9, but more will be added eventually.

Improve your city reputation. To do so, communicate with the director of affairs in the city to receive requests and bounties. You can unlock items as well as discounts through the reputation system.

Play the Spiral Abyss . The Spiral Abyss has numerous challenges that offer rewards including Primogems. Keep on playing through it until you have completed the Abyssal Moon Spire.
- This is a way to get a lot of Primogems, but be warned: it will not be easy.

Make wishes . Wishes are a guaranteed way to get you more and/or better characters/weapons. Start by wishing on the Beginner's Wish, then on the Event banners and the Permanent Wish banner. It will guarantee you lots of four and five star characters.
- You can also buy Primogems so you can wish, but that will cost money.

Spending Resin

Fight the weekly bosses. These have enormous drops and are some of the hardest enemies in the game. Be warned, though: each boss costs 60 Resin to claim rewards, and you can only claim them once per week. The current boss challenges are:
- Andrius, dominator of Wolves
- Confront Stormterror
- Enter the Golden House

Fight the normal bosses. These have elemental drops and are of moderate difficulty to defeat. These cost 40 Resin to claim rewards. The current normal bosses are:
- Pyro Regisvine
- Cryo Regisvine
- Oceanid
- Anemo Hypostasis
- Electro Hypostasis
- Geo Hypostasis
- Primo Geovishap

Complete domain challenges. These have different materials that will improve your weapons, artifacts, and characters. These can be played multiple times and can be played with other players, costing 20 Resin to claim rewards (though you can use Condensed Resin for more rewards). There are many kinds of domains, including:
- Exploration Domains - these can only be completed once and only drop rewards once (costs no Resin).
- Domains of Forgery - these will award Weapon Ascension materials.
- Domains of Blessing - these will award Artifacts so you can improve your current artifacts.
- Domains of Mastery - these will award Talent Level Up materials so you can improve your character's skills.

Pursue the Ley Lines. These will drop rewards (provided you have 20 Resin or a Condensed Resin). There are two Ley Line Blossoms: Blossoms of Revelation and Blossoms of Wealth.
- Blossoms of Revelation will award Character EXP materials.
- Blossoms of Wealth will award Mora.

Haggle with Paimon. Paimon's Bargains is a good starting place for resources. These cost either Stardust or Starglitter, which you can obtain by wishing for characters. You can also use Primogems to get Acquaint or Intertwined fate.

Buy food from the restaurants. The restaurant has some dishes and recipes that you can take with you on your journey. They will not be as filling as other foods, but they are better than nothing.

Obtain materials from general goods shops, the flower shops and the souvenir shop. All except the souvenir shop will restock after a few days. These shops require Mora, except for the souvenir shops which require sigils.Advertisement
