Create an account. In order to stream on Kick, you’ll need to create an account. You can sign up using your Google or Apple ID, or you can use the following steps to do so:
- Go to kick.com in a web browser.
- Click Sign Up in the upper-right corner.
- Enter your email, birthday, username, and password.
- Alternatively, you can click one of the options to sign up with your Google account or Apple ID.
- Click Sign Up .
- Retrieve the confirmation code from your email.
- Enter the confirmation code.
- Click Create account .
- Click Get Started .

2Download live streaming software. Kick supports OBS, Streamlabs , XSplit, MELD, and more. OBS is a popular choice because it is free and open-source.

3Retrieve your stream URL and streaming key. If you want to stream with OBS, you’ll need your streaming key in order to connect your account. Use the following steps to retrieve your streaming key:
- Log in at Kick.com .
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner.
- Click Creator Dashboard .
- Click Channel in the menu bar to the left.
- Click Stream URL & Key .
- Click the eyeball icon next to the stream URL or key.
- Retrieve the verification code from your email.
- Enter the verification code.
- Leave this page open in a web browser tab (don’t share your stream key with anyone).

4Connect your Kick account to your streaming software. If you are using Streamlabs, it’s easy to connect your account. Open the Settings menu and click Stream in the menu bar to the left. Then click Connect next to Kick and sign in to your Kick account. If you are using OBS, use the following steps to connect your account:
- Open OBS.
- Click Profile in the menu bar at the top.
- Click New .
- Enter “Kick” (or whatever you want) as the profile name and click Ok .
- Select “Optimize for Streaming” and click Next .
- Select your desired screen resolution and frame rate and click Next .
- Select “Custom” as the service.
- Copy the Stream URL from Kick.com and paste it in “Server URL.”
- Copy the stream key from kick.com and paste it in “Stream key.”

- Wait for the test to complete and click Apply settings .

5Edit your stream information. This is where you create a title for your stream and select a category. Use the following steps to edit your stream information:
- Log in at Kick.com .
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner.
- Click Creator Dashboard .
- Click Stream in the menu bar to the left.
- Click Edit below “Stream info” on the right.
- Enter a title for your stream.
- Use the menu below “Category” to search and select a category.
- Use the search bar below “Tags” to select some tags for your stream.
- Click the toggle switch if your content is for mature 18+ audiences.

6Add sources and scenes. To add webcams, audio, gameplay, etc, you’ll need ot add them as sources. You’ll most likely want to add an audio and webcam source. Use the following steps to do so in OBS:
- Click the plus ( + ) icon below Scenes to create a new scene (you can make more than one scene).
- Click the plus icon (+) below sources.
- Select a source (i.e., Audio input device, Video input device, Window Input, Game Input, etc).
- Click and drag to adjust the position of the video and screen capture devices.

7Go live. To start streaming, open OBS and click Profile at the top. Make sure your “Kick” profile is selected. Then click Start Streaming in the menu bar to the right. If you are using Streamlabs, click Go Live to start streaming live. [1] X Research source

Download the Streamlabs mobile app. You can use the Streamlabs mobile app to live stream from your phone. You can download it for free from the Google Play Store on Android, or the App Store on iPhone and iPad.

2Open Streamlabs. Once Streamlabs is finished downloading, you can tap Open to open it from the Play Store or App Store. You can also tap the Streamlabs app icon on your Home screen or Apps menu.

3Tap the Kick icon on the screen. It’s the icon with a “K” at the bottom of the screen.

4Log in to your Kick account. Enter the username or email address and password associated with your Kick account. Then, retrieve the verification code from your email and enter the 6-digit verification code. Then tap Log In .

5Tap Allow Access . This allows Streamlabs to access your channel information and your stream key.

6Allow Streamlabs to access your camera. Tap Allow or Allow when using the app to allow Kick to access your Camera and microphone.

7Follow the tutorial prompts. The first time you open the app, it will walk you through the process of setting up a scene on your phone. Tap the icon with three lines (☰) then select a camera arrangement.

8Tap Go Live . It’s the blue button at the bottom of the screen.

9Tap the toggle switch next to Kick. This indicates that you want to go live on your Kick account.

10Enter a title and select a category. Enter a title for your stream in the box labeled “Stream title”. Select a category from the “Kick Category” menu.

13Tap Stop . When you're ready to stop streaming, tap Stop at the bottom of the screen. Then tap stop in the pop-up to confirm you want to stop.
