Golden Freddy is a secret animatronic in the 2014 survival horror game, Five Nights at Freddy's. If he kills you, he will crash your game (PC) or freeze it (Android & iOS). If you actually want to summon him and experience his jumpscare, there are some tricks you can try.

Using the Golden Freddy Poster

  1. Then open the monitor and go to CAM 2B (West Hall Corner) and flip the monitor up and down until you see a poster of a close-up of Golden Freddy's face.
    • Note that this method does not work on Android devices.
  2. You'll see Golden Freddy sitting in front of you.

  3. If you want him to kill you, just leave him there for a few seconds, but opening the monitor is the only way (besides completing a night) for him to disappear.

  1. You have now unlocked the Custom Night, go into the menu.
  2. This will cause Golden Freddy's kill screen to appear and, once again, crash/freeze your game.

    Freddy doesn’t turn the lights off. When you lose power, there is a power outage. Freddy then comes and kills you.

    He can probably teleport. And he can just pop up as soon as you close the monitor.
