Steps

  1. It’s the green icon with a white table usually found in the app drawer.

  3. This opens the “fx” bar at the bottom of the sheet. It also springs open your Android’s keyboard.
  4. A pop-up menu will appear.
  5. The “fx” bar should now contain =SUM() .
  6. Now you can select the range you want to total.
  7. This highlights the cell and surrounds it by a red dotted line. A large red circle appears at the bottom-right corner of the cell.
  8. The cells are now selected.
  9. It’s on the right edge of the “fx” box. The sum of the selected cells now appears in the cell that contains the formula.
